Olson and DellaPelle Quoted in Record Article Regarding Property Tax Reductions Resulting From Hurricane Sandy

McKirdy & Riskin’s Tom Olson and Anthony Della Pelle were recently quoted in Kevin DeMarrais’ article in the Record , which explains that owners of real estate which was materially damaged by Hurricane Sandy may be entitled to a reduction in their property tax assessments for 2013. In order to qualify for the reduction, owners are required to notify the municipal Tax Assessor in writing on or before January 10, 2013 of any material depreciation to their property.
