Richard DeAngelis comments on high volume of property tax appeals
McKirdy & Riskin’s Richard DeAngelis was quoted in the March 19, 2011 article by Shannon Mullen and William Westhoven in the Daily Record, “Tax Assessment Appeals on the Rise.”
Mr. DeAngelis commented on the high volume of property tax appeals which have been filed in recent years, and in particular on the continued rise in filed appeals in advance of this year’s April 1, 2011 filing deadline. In highlighting the importance of evaluating the viability of a tax appeal before filing, Mr. DeAngelis stated: “Before I even take a client, I analyze the situation to see if they have a case.”
